As the ocean water fills in on high tides, the reef shelf disappears for a few hours, only to appear again as the tide rushes back out to sea. It truly is a sight to behold as nature works its course each Costa Rican day.
The kitchen area at Casa Olas Azul is completely modern, with a granite-top island for making meals and stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, icemaker and all the cutlery you’ll need to prepare perfect feasts each day of your stay. Next to the kitchen is a living area with two sofas, a flat-screen television and DVD player. The villa also comes equipped with 4G Internet service, a secured safe for your valuables as well as a washer and dryer unit. The development now has fiber optic internet which means that you can hook up to basically unlimited internet speeds.
There are air-conditioning units in both of the bedrooms. The master bedroom features a luxurious king bed and the aforementioned extraordinary ocean views, while the second bedroom contains a pair of twin beds that can be combined to form a comfortable king size bed. There is also a blowup mattress in the villa for additional sleeping space. Overall, it’s an ideal setup for families with children or a pair of couples.
Although subtle, there are some interesting aspects to the main bathroom as well. The sink resembles a small boulder with its insides carved out, and the shower floor is laced with tiny rocks. There is also a secure, frosted shower door that leads from the bathroom to the backyard. A second restroom, sans shower, is also inside the villa.
Plan to spend plenty of time outdoors at Casa Olas Azul. The infinity pool is breathtaking, and the weather is absolutely perfect to hang around on the poolside lounge chairs or grill some fresh fish on the barbeque. In addition, a landscaped tropical garden highlights the backyard foliage.
This luxurious vacation villa is located in the Costa Verde property development, about 20 minutes off the coastal highway and almost directly centered between the towns of Dominical and Uvita, where you can find restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies. The road to the development features both dirt and concrete, and a 4×4 vehicle is required. There is a security gate to enter the grounds with a full-time guard on duty. This area is extremely safe and incredibly beautiful. Because it’s located high in the cloud forest, the temperature at Casa Olas Azul is often 10 degrees cooler than down at the beach.
Some of the amenities of Costa Verde Estate development include the best outdoor tennis court in the southern zone, a workout room adjacent to the tennis court, a large outdoor picnic area and a helicopter pad in case of serious medical emergencies or if you just feel like taking a helicopter to San Jose instead of driving!!
The property has more buildable space for future expansion of the existing home or a second home could be built on the property. Casa Olas Azul is a vacation rental home that generates good income. This is the perfect opportunity to step right into the existing rental program and use the home part of the year and enjoy the rental revenue when you are not using it.
