Description
This large-scale land plot for sale is located around 20-25 minutes from Liberia Center. The site can be reached from Liberia via 3 different routes. The access is relatively good. Almost 1 km of the land borders the public road. This area with excellent access could potentially be used for commercial elements in the future.
The topography of the land is very diverse: there are flat areas, some hilly areas, there is a picturesque small river ‘Río Claro’ crossing the site and there is a plateau with amazing views of the canyon of Quebrada I Griega, which divides the site from its neighbor in the North.
During good weather conditions, one can enjoy panoramic views of the valley and volcanos.
The area is rich in water resources. Besides the river, the land plot has its own water well. According to tests carried out by Hidromaq, the water quality is excellent and could feed approx. 100 homes. The water well is currently in process of receiving the water concession provided by the Costa Rican government.
The soil has also been tested and it is also of good quality. Electric power lines run along the public road which borders with the site.
The site is ideal for a mixed-use development with unique flair thanks to its amazing topography – a tourism and leisure destination could be created bringing together hospitality, adventure, and nature underlined by its great scenery.
Another option could be the development of affordable housing taking advantage of the vicinity of Liberia. Of course, there are many options how to develop this site, we have been listing just 2 examples to give an overall idea.
