Shaherah white is the daughter of the well-known singers Glodean White and Barry White. Her parents gained popularity in the 80s. She worked as a personal assistant working for her father. Her father, Barry White was a producer, singer and song writer with two grammy awards and one of the greatest singers of his time.

Barry started his music career as a band member but later pursued a solo career that made him popular. He released hit tracks like Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, The Last, My Everything and Staying Power. He is an American songwriter and singer known for his bass sound and romantic songs. He was awarded two Grammy awards for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for album and single in 2000. Throughout his career, he was nominated for 11 Grammy awards and won two for staying power at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2000.
Barry did voice-over for movies and television like the film Coonskin Playing Brother Bear. He’s been on commercials like Prodigy as a bus driver, in a Good Seasons salad dressing mix commercial he played the voice of a rabbit, and in-car commercials for Oldsmobile and Jeep. He did a television and radio voice-over for Arby’s restaurant to promote their menu. He appeared on the comedy-drama series Ally McBeal.
He founded Love Unlimited a famous female group. He was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame in September 2004 in New York, awarded the 2,506th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame category of recording at 6914 Hollywood Boulevard, and was ranked number 56 by Rolling Stone on the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time in 2023. He had recorded 20 studio albums in his career and 41 platinum-status songs, 20 gold and 10 platinum singles selling over 100 million records. Barry met Glodean as his background singer in the Love Unlimited group. They got married in 1974 and had four children. They separated, but by the time of his death, they had not divorced yet. He had four children with his first marriage to Mary from his teen years. He remarried Glodean and had four children from 1974 and separated in 1988.

Shaherah was born in Los Angeles, USA. She is the daughter of Glodean White and Barry White and has four siblings and five half-siblings from her father’s first marriage and relationships. Shaherah and her sister Bridgett followed in their parent’s footsteps and had the chance to sing with their mother in the group trio, which consisted of relatives. Bridgett has three children, and Shaherah has one and both are in interracial relationships.
Shaherah’s father Barry passed away on July 4 2003 at the age of 58 after several kidney failure treatments, a stroke a few months earlier, and multiple seizures. He was overweight weighing 375 pounds, and smoked 150 cigarettes a day. His son Darryl White sued Glodean for not being transparent with her father’s will and spending the money lavishly.
Recently Shaherah celebrated her late father’s 76th birthday. She shared two throwback photos of her and her father and a kind message to celebrate him. The photo showed their resemblance and beautiful smile and received so much love from her father’s supporters.
